Мы с Матушкой пошли в церковь, чтобы отслужить благодарственный молебен за всех пострадавших и испытавших милость Божию от урагана.

Мы также обошли все здание, чтобы оценить последствия «Сэнди». Слава Богу Церковь и школа на своем месте и без повреждений. Подвал здания залит водой, но не слишком плохо. На территории несколько деревьев упало около гаража и в лесной области. Несколько деревьев упало на гараж и проломили его крышу. Повреждение структуры очень явно. Я не смог оценить положение в гараже и в нашем складе, так как автоматические двери открываются с помощью электричества, а мы потеряли полностью электричество в церкви, и я не смог войти в гараж.

Пожалуйста, не двигайте ничего и не подходите близко к гаражу – МОЖЕТ БЫТЬ НЕБЕЗОПАСНО и НЕУСТОЙЧИВО. Мы обращаемся к нашему страховому агентству для определения, какая у нас точно страховка, что она покрывает и чтобы она провела свою оценку. Нам нужна будет помощь с уборкой и, возможно, с починкой нашего гаража и с восстановлением наших потерь. Все это еще надо точно определить. Держитесь в курсе дела.

Мы все еще можем пользоваться частью парковки для Молебна в Среду 31 октября в 19 часов. Мы отслужим благодарственный молебен с Акафистом Святителю Иоанну Шанхайскому и Сан Францисскому, спасшему своими молитвами свою паству от тайфуна на Филиппинских островах и сейчас нас от серьезной беды от урагана Сэнди.

I had gone with Matushka to Church to serve a Thankful Moleben and a Moleben to pray for all the ones whom had suffered from the hurricane.

We had also taken the opportunity to assess the grounds after “Sandy”.  Glory Be to God the Church and Russian School is up and without damage.  The basement has had a bit of flooding, but not too bad.  There were a few fallen trees in the area of our Garage and throughout the wooded area. A Few trees had fallen onto the garage where we store items. The fallen trees had fallen onto the roof of the garage and penetrated the roof of the garage.  Structural damage is very evident. I was not able to assess the inside of the garage and all of our storage as there is still no power at the church.  The garage doors are on power so not able to get in.  

Please do not move or go near the garage area and the rumble around it – IT COULD BE UNSAFE and UNSTABLE. We will be contacting the insurance company to determine what type of coverage we have and for them to assess.  We will definitely need help with clean up and possibly restoration to our garage and replenish our losses. All of that is still to be determined. Stay tuned.

We are still able to use the rest of the driveway and parking for our MOLEBEN on WEDNESDAY October 31 at 7 pm of thanks with Akathist to St. John of Shanghai and SF - thru his prayers, saved the people of the Phillipines from the Typhoon and us all from harms way with Hurricane Sandy.
